Linear actuators are described as a device which converts rotary motion into linear motion.
Linear actuators are available in different styles and configurations this makes them suitable for many different applications in a wide range of industries. They are fast becoming a vital device within motion control.
Linear Actuators comprise of an AC or DC motor, gearing and a lead or ball screw with driving nut. As the motor rotates, the screw also rotates forcing the nut along the shaft and whatever is being controlled by the actuator will move linearly.

1. Rod-style ball screw electromechanical linear cylinders

Ball screw and servo motors provide accurate and repeatable positioning, capable of high cycle life, repeatability can up to 0.02mm.

2. Motors
(1) Motors can be mounted axially or parallel in four positions.
(2) IP65 options for both axial and parallel mounted motors ensure cylinders will continue to operate in dusty and wet environments.

6. Careful Material Selection
A. Use round carbon steel as the cylinder material.

C. Key components are made of high-quality materials and processed with vacuum heat treatment or surface treatment (including coating,
azotizing, oxidation).
D. Select branded bearings and gears to achieve the best mechanical performance in mechanical structure.
E. Select high-quality grease to minimize friction, which enables the drive efficiency to reach up to 90%.
7. Refined Design and Processing
A. The connection between the screw nut and the piston rod is rigid.
B. Snap fastener will be required to locate the part in its fixed position to avoid assembly errors that affect mechanical properties.
C. All screw threads are coated with screw locking adhesive after commissioning to ensure the equipment is stable and trouble-free.
D. Adopt domestic ball screw and bearing products, light load output, high-cost performance.
E. All heavy-duty cylinders use sliding key guides. (The square cylinders are using guided rod).
8. Duty Cycle
Ball screws are used for the frequent operation of electric cylinders, the duty cycle is ensured to be greater than 50% or continuous operation.

Q: How to select an electric cylinder?
A: Firstly, confirm the thrust(pushing or pulling force), stroke and speed. Then, consider the installation space to determine whether an inline or parallel electric cylinder is suitable. Next, determine the mounting method to fix the electric cylinder, such as the front flange, rear flange, side flange, terminal convex pin, terminal pin hole(just refer above mounting ways picture). Finally, confirm the output form of the piston rod interface(just refer above inline type and paralle type pictures).
Q: How to choose the motor that paired with the electric cylinder?
A: The electric cylinder can match with servo motor, stepper motor or brushless DC motor. The specific motor type will be chosen as per customer's application requirement. We will recommend the most suitable one.
Q: Do I often need to maintain the electric cylinder?
A: It's not necessary, the electric cylinder will operate well for a long term, you only need to drop some lubrication for continuous smooth moving.
