The lead of Planetary Roller Electric Cylinder can be designed to be smaller than that of Ball Screw Electric Cylinder.
The lead of planetary roller electric cylinder (the length of linear motion per revolution) can be very small. Due to the limitation of multi head threads, small diameter threads can usually achieve a lead of 1mm, and the pitch is defined as the lead divided by the number of screw heads. The cyclic planetary screw is a single head or double head screw, so the pitch is equal to half the lead or half the lead. The selection and implementation of the lead do not require any geometric changes in the screw and nut, and the minimum lead of the ball screw is limited by the size of the steel ball that can match the thread. For the ball screw, a small lead means a small ball and relatively small load force.
